Behind NOIRE Issue «3» hid another working title — «exhaustion». We set out to describe that same “dying pit” we keep hearing more and more about. But we realized that this is not the whole trend — there is also escapism, love, and nostalgia.
It turns out that old jokes still make us smile. For some reason, we continue to love. And anger can be just as productive an emotion as any other, if channeled correctly.
To get through the turbulence, it was necessary not to keep running forward, but to turn back.
